Remembering
Bob Harrington
Bob Harrington, a beloved partner, dog dad, guitar player, brother, nurse, uncle, skier, rafter, jam partner, and cherished friend and colleague to many, died on the slopes of Mt. Bachelor on March 5, 2024. He was 58 years old.
In the later years of his life, Bob spent much of his free time practicing, learning, and striving to hone his craft as a guitar player and singer. Joining many local jams, camps, and lessons, Bob’s confidence in his skills grew. The more he played with others the more he loved playing and wanted to work to be the best he could be. Bob loved the Sisters Folk Festival, attended as many of their events as he could, and they were a big source of motivation, support, friendship, and education for him.

The Bob Harrington Memorial Fund has been established to honor him. He would have loved if his legacy included supporting other musicians to learn to sharpen their skills and to give them an opportunity to play with others and gain confidence and connection through music as he did.
We have yet to determine how these funds will be utilized, but we want to assure that what filled his heart will be passed along to as many others as we can reach.
